Thank you to everyone who has followed me from Live. Laugh. Love. Lacquer. This transition is difficult but I am so glad to see familiar followers here. If you don't know yet, my blog had a major malfunction so I will now be working from here. I hope you'll rejoin me here on this new blog. Thank you guys so much.
Today I want to show you a gorgeaous indigo polish that looks amazing. The polish is No More Film, by Essie, and although they call it a 'seductive violet' I would classify it more as a blurple. It is a combination of blue and purple, almost to the point where you can't tell which one it leans to more. I would say it is more blue based, but definitely can be confusing in certain lights. Either way it is a wonderful colour.

It took two coats for even coverage, although if I had been better ir may have taken only one. As with most Essie polishes it flows freely, meaning there is some cuticle bleed to beware of. I don't miond the formula even if it is a little messy, its much better than being too thick. Just a little cleanup and it was good to go.
I really like the colour and even though I have some similar to it in my stash, I don't have anythign exactly the same shade, so No More Film lands a special spot for me. Typically I find blue doesn't look great on ym skin tone, but with the purple/blurple factor this one looked better than I expected. I will definitely be wearing it again.
Do any of you have this polish? Are you looking to get it? I'd love to hear so leave a comment!

I've got a bottle in the mail, I love colors like this! I think it's nearly identical to OPI Roadhouse Blues.
ReplyDeleteI don't have that one, I'll have to look at a swatch to see. No More Film is really pretty so I imagine the OPI must be gorgeous as well!
DeleteThis looks so nice.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sandra!
