China Glaze Holly Day

I know it is the middle of summer and everyone is wearing bright or light shades this season but for some reason I reached for a Christmas colour. For some reason a deep dark green was screaming at me from behind all of my hot pink and other summer shades. 

This is from last year's China Glaze holiday set, and it is called Holly Day. The polish is a really lovely forest green colour and it looks warm on me instead of cool like blue and green usually do. I feel like it has some depth to it and it always makes me look a little longer at it.

Application was really good, it took two coats but it was very nicely covered and I think it smoothed itself out quite nicely. The photo is without top coat so you can see how it have a shiny finish on its own. Overall I really liked this polish during the holiday season, and still do even during the fun summer months. It's always nice to switch it up sometimes.
