Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Pink & Purple Polka Dots

Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Polka Dots
This is just a quick post for today but its pretty cute. I am definitely a girly girl so pink and purple are some go-to colours for me. I actually don't love purple that much on its own but I do pair it with pink when it comes to nail polish. I wanted to do something simple today, and my trusty dotting tool called out to me.

The base colour used is Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Speedy Sunburst. I am a huge fan of Insta-Dri polishes for many reasons. Not only are they a quick dry formula, but I love the brush and application too. There is also a huge range of colour choices and they aren't too expensive. If I could only use one line of polish this one might be it.

Speedy Sunburst us a bright pink shade, with a hint or red or coral to it. It isn't baby pink for sure but it also isn't neon hot pink. It falls somewhere in the middle and I really like it. I did two coats of this as a base but I could have totally handled one if I had paid more attention when applying.

The dots are done with Lively Lilac, also an Insta-Dri shade. This one has a subtle shimmer to it and is harder to see in the little dots so check the bottle and you can probably see a hint if shimmer there. It is a nice light purple shade and I have it on my toes right now. I love it on its own much more than I thought I would and it might make its way into one of my favourite purples.

Anyways, that sums up this look and the colours used, as well as my love for the Insta-Dri line. The dots are cute and sweet for summer. I like the simplicity of polka dots but still they are more exciting than just plain polish. And using Insta-Dri it took no time at all so that was a bonus!

Do you guys like the Insta-Dri line? Which colours are your favourites? Leave a comment and let me know!
