OPI Sparrow Me The Drama

Is it the weekend yet? This week has gone by so slow for me! I don't know about you but I am so ready for a few days off after being super busy all week... I need some tea and a good episode of a girly show to relax this weekend. What are you guys looking forward to for your days off?

Today I did some cute pink girly nails with polka dots in a variety of OPI polish shades. I used four polish, all OPI, including Sparrow Me The Drama as the base. I applied two coats of that and it looked pretty nice on its own, but I was in the mood for a little more fun.

I included a swatch of it so you could see the colour on its own. I had it that way for a few hours but I changed my mind. I decided on dainty dots so I used my smallest dotting tool to create the design. Its fairly simple and pretty quick to do, which is why I really love having dotting tools to reach for when I have limited time.

I typically do dots all over the nail but this time I went with just by the base. I added a few shades of pinks and purples to get a totally girly look. The three colours included are Houston We Have A Purple, Steady As She Rose, and I'm India Mood For Love. I kind of wanted the dots to disperse as it got to the nail tip but I guess my artistic skills aren't as good in my hands as they look in my head.

I actually really like all four of these colours on their own and reach for the quite often. I have never put them all together before but I think I will be doing it again.

I still think it looks pretty cute and it definitely filled the girly feeling I was looking for. I hope you guys had a good week and have some great plans for the weekend. Thanks for stopping by!
