I have something really exciting to show you today. This is
the Tarte 5 Piece LipSurgence Collector’s Set from Sephora. I have been debating with myself to buy a
LipSurgence Lip tint for a long time now and could never gather myself to pay
$25 for one lip product. When this set came out for the holidays I was
instantly sold and went the very next day to buy it.
They all look fairly natural on my lips and are really nice
shades to wear. The feeling in amazing, so soft and smooth, and there is a
refreshing hint of peppermint that helps to plump your lips. When I wear these
I do feel like I have really shiny lips with a lovely tingly feeling.
For little more than the price of one product you are
getting five of them in a variety of shades and styles. I would have had a hard
time deciding which one to purchase anyways so this saved me the trouble and
gave me lots of options for a fairly low price!
My very first experience with Tarte was with a
LipSurgence Lip Tint about six months
ago. I got a mini size of one in a Tarte set from Sephora and I was hooked
immediately. The shade I got was Enchanted, which is one of the ones included
in this Collector’s Set. I use that mini
one all the time, it stays in my purse at all times and it is my go-to shade
when I just can’t decide what to wear on my lips.

In this set there are two Lip Tints (Enchanted and Elite),
two Lip Lusters (Escape and Sweet), and one Matte Lip Tint (Exposed) I loved that they almost all start with an E,
since my name is Emily, and I thought that was a theme until I saw Sweet was
also included. Anyways, that is not the important part of this post.
The two Lip Tints are sheer colours that are glossy and
juicy looking. Enchanted is a sheer rose and Elite is a sheer melon, and they
both look and feel amazing upon application. They go on so smoothly and just
look very shiny and glossy on your lips, without the heavy feeling that most
lip glosses give.
The Lip Lusters are more of a shimmer formula with some
reflecting particles in them to add a sweet shimmer to the colour. Escape is a
shimmering pink and Sweet is a peachy pink with shimmer. These look really
lovely on as well and add some depth to the shiny colours.
The Matte Lip Tint, Exposed, is a really nice nude shade
that has a fantastic formula. It feels so soft to apply and doesn't feel dry
to wear. I have
always been a huge fan of matte lips so this one is definitely one of my
favorites.
These LipSurgence colours are all fairly light and sheer but
you can build up the pigment with a few layers on your lips. I love that they
don’t feel sticky like glosses or dry like some lipsticks. They are some sort
of middle ground that feels soft and sheer but actually has enough pigment to
show up. These are easy to apply and feel good to wear. They leave my lips
feeling moisturized and smooth, which is always a benefit especially with cold
weather coming.
Overall I really enjoy wearing these, I've wanted one for a long time, and the set is a great value for all five. I would definitely suggest you snatch this up before its gone because these Tarte LipSurgence Lip Tints are amazing!
