| Benefit CORALista |
In the past six months I have turned into a big fan of
Benefit Cosmetics. I always used to admire it in my local Sephora or Shoppers
Drug Mart displays but never purchased a product. I had one mini size Benetint
that I got so long ago and used until it was dry and ever since then I knew I
had to go back for more. I stumbled upon some really amazing sets on Sephora’s
website and I made the plunge over the summer, finally buying some Benefit
products. I got a few of the kits that came out for back to school and I could
not be happier. One of my favourite products from my purchases is CORALista.
CORALista is a really sweet coral-pink blush that pleasantly
surprised me. I am totally into coral, it’s one of my favourite colours, but
this blush looked a little too light and shimmery for my skin tone. I worried
it would be more iridescent than actually coloured, but CORALista delivered a
beautiful blush. The colour is actually really amazing, its light enough that I
can layer and not worry about accidentally looking like a clown, but it has
enough pigment that it isn’t invisible on my tanned skin.
It has a nice light scent as well, which I can’t quite place
but I do like. I use a fluffy blush brush and don’t need much product to make
it show up. It feels super light on my skin which I love, and it applies so
easily. It’s a really smooth formula and I like how it blends well and looks so
natural. It really does look like a warm flush on my face, which is hard to
find with my skin tone.

| Benefit CORALista Blush |
For my first Benefit blush I am thrilled to have picker this
one to purchase. It makes me so excited to try out other ones now, since this
one was beyond my expectations. My only issue is the price tag since a struggling
student budget cannot afford a $28 blush. I bought mine in a set and I think
that’s what I will stick to for now, so hopefully I find a few more sets with
amazing items to try.
Even though it came out for summer I like using it in the
colder months to make myself feel like I’m on a tropical vacation somewhere,
when I’m really wearing boots and mittens to go to class. With a gorgeous
colour that looks so natural and smooth powder that feels great, CORALista is
quickly becoming my staple blush this season.
