|Bad to the Bronze|
Have you ever had beauty inspiration from a movie or television show?
Since starting my blog and getting more into makeup and nail polish, I have some uncontrollable way of always noticing actresses and their beauty looks. I always notice nail polish on any TV show, movie, or even commercial that I watch. I also notice some makeup looks and in this case I wanted to recreate it.
Nina Dobrev stars in The Vampire Diaries and in almost every episode she has some sort of golden bronze shimmery eye shadow. Even when she’s supposed to be sleeping I can see it on her lids, and after hours of staring at that golden shimmer I decided I needed to try it. It looked like a such a good neutral look for brown eyes and seemed easy enough for everyday wear.
I found my perfect everyday eye shadow with Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze. Not only is the formula amazing and long lasting, but the colour is subtle enough for daily wear. I can layer more to get a deeper shadow shade if I want to, but even with one swipe across my lids I get an easy everyday look.

I love the formula of this since it really doesn't crease and it feels so smooth. I apply it in the morning and I know I'll be good to go all day long. If I swicth up my makeup in the evening then I just use this bronze as a base for whatever eye makeup I want to add, and it keeps everything lasting and in place. Its perfect for a quick swipe of colour that adds a little extra shimmer for a simple style.
Seeing Nina Dobrev sporting this style on The Vampire Diaries is what sparked my love for Bad to the Bronze, and since then it has been my staple shadow. I wear this at least twice a week and it really is my go-to look for a pretty but simple shadow.
