OPI Soft Shades Collection for Disney's Oz The Great And Powerful

I have to admit I am really looking forward to the upcoming film, Disney’s Oz The Great And Powerful. I have always loved the Wizard of Oz story and to see this new movie with some big celebrities starring in it is really exciting.

I definitely plan to go see it and I am really looking forward to seeing Mila Kunis, Michelle Williams, and James Franco in the film. It comes out on March 8, 2013 so that is this weekend! Will you be going to see it?

To go along with this excitement, OPI is creating yet another movie collection of pretty polishes. I have been a huge fan of the previous ones including the Burlesque  This one is a Soft Shades collection that includes a new Liquid Sand shade.

I love the Liquid Sand texture so I am looking forward to a more neutral shade in that formula. I also am starting to really like light shades lately, especially for Spring so these look very fresh. Of course I adore glitter too, so that is another bonus of this collection!

This set of  shades is a limited edition collection that includes soft crème colours and light airy glitters to go along with the whimsical feeling of Oz. As usual these polishes have super cute names to go along with the characters in the film. Here are the six polishes you can expect from this year’s Soft Shades collection.

Lights of Emerald City
White confetti adds city girl flair and style to nails.

Which is Witch?
Is this silver glitter with iridescent sparkle or the other way around?

When Monkeys Fly!
I’m simply bananas for this gold confetti.

Don’t Burst My Bubble
Don’t wake me...I’m dreaming about puffy clouds of white.

Glints of Glinda
Only a good witch could turn beige from meek to chic.

 I Theodora You
This adorable, sheer pink is bewitching on you.

As I said I am getting more into the lighter shades, so I am looking forward to this release. I will definitely be picking up some of the glitters and perhaps the Liquid Sand one as well. What do you guys think of these polishes?

  1. I think I'm only impressed by the glitters. OPI has so many soft shades that they start looking similar to me LOL
